Big changes
I can’t believe the 180 my brother Derek has made with his life. A year ago he was having a lot of trouble in his life in more ways than one. I sort of fell out of touch with him there for awhile. He was wrestling with his own demons and that was his fight to fight. I won’t go into specifics because that wouldn’t be fair to him but believe me it was rough. Lately though he has been doing great. I saw him yesterday and he told me he is starting ultrasound technician classes next week. I couldn’t be more happier for him. He is a really smart kid and I think he would do well in whatever career path he chose for himself. I told him he should come over more often to see his niece and he said he would do just that. Both my wife and my daughter love him so I know she’ll be happy.
